partners in FAIRification workshops
offers a collection of Metadata for Machines (M4M) and FAIR Implementation Profile (FIP) workshop formats that adhere to the GO FAIR Foundation qualification criteria. partners in FAIR workshops have been designed to support communities that range from novices to intermediates to experts in FAIR. Many factors affect how an M4M or FIP workshop is arranged to best meet your goals. The workshops are facilitated by at least two FAIR data experts and require minimally one full-day, with pre- and post-workshop consulting (workshop package costing begins at €12000). partners in FAIR will work with you to design a workshop experience that optimizes your deployment and training in FAIR. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.

Metadata for Machines workshops
qualified Metadata for Machines (M4M) workshops team-up domain practitioners with experts in FAIR metadata who guide the creation of (1) controlled vocabularies and (2) metadata schema that meet the FAIR data needs of that domain community. The M4M workshops are designed to be agile, hackathon-style training events that transfer the knowledge and skills making it easy for humans to confidently build metadata for machines. If you would like to book an M4M workshop or just want to learn more, please contact us via the GO FAIR Foundation request form.

FAIR Implementation Profile workshops
qualified FAIR Implementation Profile (FIP) workshops team-up domain practitioners with experts in FAIR implementation who guide community-specific decision making processes regarding the many options around standards and technologies supporting each of the FAIR Principles. The result is a machine-readable FAIR Implementation Profile that informs FAIRification efforts both within, as well as between, domain communities. If you would like to book a FIP workshop or just want to learn more, please contact us via the GO FAIR Foundation request form.

M4M/FIP Train-the-Trainer programs
In order to achieve FAIR data and services at scale, more and more communities will need to onboard with FAIR metadata and FAIR Implementation Profiles. To help meet this need, partners in FAIR offers training programs that transfer the knowledge and skills fundamental to running GO FAIR Foundation qualified M4M and FIP workshops with guarantees on the FAIRness of the resulting outputs.
